It is said that Khalid bin Al-Waleed and Genghis Khan were the only two generals to remain undefeated in their entire military life. The author, late Lieutenant General A.I. Akram of the Pakistan Army, learned Arabic in order to learn from the historical sources about Khalid Al-Walid and visited each one of Khalid's battle-fields in order to analyze his military strategy and tactics. The book's original publication was by the Army Education Press, Rawalpindi, Pakistan and was printed by Feroze Sons Publishers in Lahore, Pakistan. The book has become very popular and has also been translated from English to Arabic and is currently sold throughout the Arab and Muslim World.
